THE BEST SUSHI WE HAVE EATEN IN THE UK- (& we've been to Japan).

We ordered salmon & tuna maki, salmon nigiri and a salmon and avocado special roll. INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS and the size of the salmon cuts were very generous in ratio to the rice and that is not common at all in the UK.

I also found myself being overjoyed as I'm usually not a fan of raw tuna in the UK but after my partner ordered it for themselves, I decided to try it and I loved it even more than the salmon!!

The place is run by a nice couple whom made us feel very welcome. We had such a wonderful experience for our first eats outside city centre.

We will be back to order the same again and to try more of the menu!

Words can not describe how good the food is! The flavours are on another level and Sosu is definitely one of the best ramen spots in Nottingham, if not the whole UK.

An authentic taste of Japan in our very own Nottingham. We should treasure spots like this with our patronage.

Next time I want proper tonkotsu I know where to go. Incredible value.

The food was excellent! We had the tonkotsu ramen and the beef bulgogi for mains and for starters we had the king prawn tempura and the salmon maki! The salmon maki had a sizeable amount of salmon inside, which was full of flavour! The king prawn tempura was brilliant and the tempura batter was super crunchy! The broth from the ramen was delicious as was the beef bulgogi! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic place to come eat. Would HIGHLY recommend. Easily best Japanese food in Nottingham. Every time I travel to Notts I stop by and they remember faces which is a sign of high quality customer service.

With a selection of sushi serving eel, avocado and tuna, I had the Teriyaki sirloin steak rare on the Robata coals. This was probably the best steak ever ! Absolutely mouthwatering and you felt a few thousand miles away. A gem and I'll be eating again very soon. Thank you everyone!

Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this place. So serene and freshly cooked food. I've been around X5 now and it's consistent. Added some pics too!
